Release Notes – v3.2.7-rc1

19 August 2026 (256b273)

B2C Memberships Orders created on Guest Customer Account

CORE-9049 | FD: 5596

Resolved an issue where membership orders could be processed via guest checkout, which prevented these orders from being correctly linked to customer accounts and synchronised with the CRM.

Details

  • Guest Checkout Restriction: Fixed a loophole in the mobile basket summary that allowed users to bypass the mandatory login requirement for membership purchases.
  • Cart Association Fix: Resolved a validation error ("Associated user is mandatory to purchase membership or patronage") that occurred when a user logged in after adding a membership to their cart.
  • Account Linking: Ensured that all membership purchases are correctly associated with a registered account, enabling proper fulfillment and visibility in the "My bookings" section.

Customer Testing Guidance

Test Case 1: Mobile Basket Summary (Guest Checkout Prevention)

  • Ensure you are logged out of the site.
  • Add any membership product to the cart.
  • Using a mobile device (or mobile browser viewport), tap the View basket summary option.
  • Expected Result: The basket drawer should display the cart contents, but the "Checkout as guest" call-to-action (CTA) must not be visible.

Test Case 2: Login After Cart Creation

  • Ensure you are logged out of the site.
  • Add a membership product to the cart.
  • From the basket page, log in to an existing account or create a new one.
  • Proceed to checkout, enter payment details, and complete the transaction.
  • Expected Result: The payment should complete without error. The resulting order must be linked to the account and visible under the My bookings section in the portal.

Test Case 3: Regression - Standard Admission Tickets

  • Add a standard admission ticket (non-membership) to the cart while logged out.
  • Expected Result: The "Checkout as guest" option should remain available and functional for standard tickets, as guest checkout is still permitted for non-membership items.
