POS – Missing Date of Birth Now Highlighted for Migrated Memberships V3-177
When renewing or amending a migrated membership where the date of birth was not carried over, the Contact Details screen now highlights the empty Date of Birth field immediately on load, displaying a "You must enter date of birth" prompt. This applies to both the lead member and any additional members on joint memberships. Previously, staff had to manually check each field to identify missing data before proceeding. New membership purchases with a blank form are unaffected.
POS – Membership Walk-Up Attendance Now Available on Desktop/Tablet Tills
EXPIAN-333
Staff using desktop or tablet POS devices (e.g. E700) can now record membership walk-up attendance after scanning a Discovery Card. The till displays the walk-up screen with selectable ticket types and a Save button, with the basket panel visible alongside for reference. This brings desktop devices in line with the existing mobile scanning experience. Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) sites are not affected by this change.
POS – Location Dropdown Now Displays Location Names Instead of Internal Codes
CORE-8830
Location dropdowns in Settings and on the sales/event screen now display the configured location name (e.g. "Main Entrance") instead of the internal location code. This also fixes an issue where re-selecting the same location with optional sublocations did not refresh the sublocation list. The corrected display is consistent across login, Settings and the event screen.
POS – Prompt for Missing Booking Details Before Payment
EXPIAN-338
The till now displays a prompt when staff attempt to take payment on an order that has mandatory booking detail fields left incomplete. The prompt gives staff the option to either complete the missing information or proceed with payment anyway. This reduces the risk of orders being completed without required custom-field data, while still allowing staff to skip when necessary. Products without mandatory booking details are unaffected.
