Release notes: Core platform v3.4.5 (30 September 2026)
30 September 2026 (1552cb9)
Core platform v3.4.5 is a small maintenance release on the 3.4 line, covering the changes since v3.4.4. It adds one internal capability that lets the Expian team return an order to a guest order when it has been linked to the wrong customer account. There are no database migrations and no change to day-to-day use.

Return an order to a guest order
Jira: CORE-9171
Need
Staff could already move an order from one customer account to another, but there was no way to remove an order from a customer account altogether without changing data directly.
Change
The Expian team can now detach an order from a customer account, so that it becomes a guest order again. This is an internal capability with no new screen and no change to day-to-day use. Some orders cannot be detached: draft orders, orders that are not owned by a customer account (for example POS sales, or reservations not taken on a customer's behalf), and orders that contain memberships or other entitlements, including any being added through an amendment in progress. When an order is detached, the usual order-updated webhook is sent, so connected systems receive the change in the normal way.
