Release notes: POS 3.0.18.1 (30 September 2026)

This release contains a single fix to the POS app. When a customer is assigned to a booking, any Gift Aid consent the customer has already accepted is now kept, along with the billing address and ticket donation choice. There is no other change to day-to-day use.

Gift Aid consent kept when a customer is assigned to a booking

Issue

When a customer or account was assigned to a booking after Gift Aid had been accepted, the accepted Gift Aid consent was cleared from the booking.

Fix

Accepted Gift Aid consent is now kept when a customer or account is assigned to a booking. The billing address and the ticket donation choice are also kept. If Gift Aid was not accepted on the booking, it stays switched off.

Testing

1. Suggested: In POS, start a booking, add tickets and accept Gift Aid.

2. Suggested: Make a note of the billing address and whether ticket donations are selected.

3. Suggested: Assign a customer or account to the booking.

4. Suggested: Check the booking. Gift Aid should still be accepted, and the billing address and ticket donation choice should be unchanged.

5. Suggested: Repeat steps 1 to 4 without accepting Gift Aid. After the customer is assigned, Gift Aid should still be switched off.
