Release Notes – Version 3.3.0
Product: Expian booking and ticketing platform
Release version: v3.3.0
Document date: 13 August 2026
Audience: Client teams and account contacts
About this release
Version 3.3.0 is the first release of our new regular release train. Unlike previous versions, which were built for a single client at a time, v3.3.0 is a single common version that every client moves onto.
It is a large release. It brings together new functionality, a substantial set of fixes raised by clients during live use and user acceptance testing, and a significant amount of work on the reliability and performance of the platform underneath.
The headline additions are:
- Klarna as a new payment method, controllable by country and by minimum basket value.
- Bulk unique promotion codes, generated and tracked from the Admin Portal.
- Basket quantity editing and single-product deep links in the online booking journey.
- Annual pass amendments for customers, with upgrade and date rules enforced.
- Customer search before order in the Reservations Portal.
- Search by migrated reference, so bookings brought over from a previous system can be found by their old reference.
- A major performance fix to availability searching, removing the timeouts that were blocking booking on larger product sets.
How to read this document
Every item below lists:
- Reference – the ticket number you can quote to our support team, plus the related support case number where one exists.
- What's changed – a plain description of the change.
- How to check it – steps your own team can follow to confirm the change is working in your environment.
Every change appears once only. Where a change applies across all clients, it is listed in the shared section rather than under the client who first raised it.
Items marked No customer action needed are internal or infrastructure changes with no visible behaviour for you to test.
Online booking journey (B2C)
General
UK postcodes are tidied up automatically at checkout
Reference: EXPIAN-351
What's changed: Checkout used to reject UK postcodes that were not typed in perfect uppercase-with-a-space format. They are now formatted automatically and accepted.
How to check it:
- Start a booking on your booking site and reach the checkout details step.
- Type a UK postcode with no space and in lower case, then click elsewhere.
- The postcode is tidied up automatically and accepted, with no error message.
- The resulting order shows the postcode in the correct format.
New setting to require a customer address at checkout
Reference: CORE-8851
What's changed: A new setting requires the customer's address to be stored at checkout, so the address is always captured against the account.
How to check it:
- Switch the setting on in the Admin Portal.
- Book on your booking site as a brand-new customer account.
- You are required to provide and store an address before the booking can complete.
- The stored address appears in the customer account address book.
No more error message when saving an address
Reference: CORE-8310, EXPIAN-340
What's changed: Saving an address while creating an account at checkout produced a "Something went wrong" message, even though the address had saved correctly. The duplicate submission behind it has been removed.
How to check it:
- Place a booking on your booking site, creating a new customer account.
- At the address step, choose to save it as your default billing address.
- No error appears, the booking completes, and the address is in the account address book.
- Repeat and choose Skip: the booking completes and no address is saved.
Deposit amounts now show in the basket summary
Reference: CORE-8015
What's changed: Booking-level deposits were only shown on the PDF ticket. They are now shown in the basket and order summary as well, and in confirmation emails where these are configured to show them.
How to check it:
- Book a product that has a deposit configured in the Admin Portal.
- Review the basket and order summary before paying.
- Open the confirmation email and the ticket document.
- The deposit amount is shown consistently in all of them.
"Cart" renamed to "basket" throughout
Reference: EXPIAN-390
What's changed: The last remaining customer-facing uses of the word "cart" have been changed to "basket".
How to check it:
- Add tickets on your booking site and leave the page idle until it times out.
- Read the timeout message.
- The message says "basket". The word "cart" no longer appears anywhere customer-facing.
Newsletter sign-up wording displays correctly
Reference: V3-295
What's changed: The newsletter sign-up label in the checkout marketing preferences section displayed raw formatting tags instead of styled text, particularly on narrow screens.
How to check it:
- Start a booking on your booking site, on a phone or in a narrow browser window.
- Continue to the contact details step where marketing preferences are shown.
- The wording reads as normal styled text, with no stray tags visible.
Login email addresses are no longer case-sensitive
Reference: EXN-3
What's changed: The login email field forced lower case as the customer typed, which blocked customers whose accounts were stored with capital letters. Email case is now normalised, so capitals and stray spaces no longer prevent access.
Please note: This prevents new problems occurring. Accounts already stored with capital letters may still need a separate data correction – please raise a support case if you believe you are affected.
How to check it:
- On your login page, type an email address using capital letters and stray spaces.
- Also try creating an account, resending a code and resetting a password the same way.
- All work, and on a mobile device the field no longer fights auto-capitalisation.
Date of birth accepts non-UK date formats
Reference: EXN-11
What's changed: Date-of-birth entry failed for customers whose device used a date format other than the UK one. Parsing is now aware of the customer's locale.
How to check it:
- On a device set to a non-UK date format, enter a date of birth on your booking site.
- Continue through the booking, including any age-restricted ticket types.
- Try an impossible date such as 31/02/1990, and a date in the future.
- Valid dates are accepted, age rules still apply, and invalid dates are refused.
Using the back button no longer duplicates a booking
Reference: PO-1511
What's changed: Waiting on the payment page and then using the back button duplicated the journey legs and doubled the price.
How to check it:
- Start a booking and wait several minutes on the payment page.
- Use the browser back button, or "Back to order", then click Checkout again.
- Also try adding a promotion code and checking out again.
- The basket still shows only the original items and the total is unchanged.
Zero-quantity ticket types are no longer recorded on a booking
Reference: CORE-8979
What's changed: Whatever a sales channel sends, only ticket types actually purchased are now recorded against a booking. Reducing a ticket type to zero during an amendment removes it, which is how add-ons already behaved. This removes empty rows that were inflating visitor reporting for orders placed through integrations.
Please note: This is a forward fix. Existing bookings are unchanged.
How to check it: No customer action needed – this only occurs on orders arriving through a partner channel integration and cannot be reproduced through the user interface. Check your visitor reporting after a period of integration trading to confirm counts look correct.
Gift Aid
Gift Aid orders can now complete
Reference: EXPIAN-310
What's changed: Customers who answered "yes" to Gift Aid could not proceed to checkout or payment. The Gift Aid checkout flow has been fixed.
How to check it:
- Add tickets on your booking site and answer "yes" to Gift Aid.
- Complete the address details and tick the address confirmation box.
- The Checkout button works and payment completes as normal.
- Repeat without Gift Aid to confirm nothing else has changed.
Home address collected only where Gift Aid consent is given
Reference: EXPIAN-7, EXPIAN-354
What's changed: The home address is now requested only from customers who consent to Gift Aid, as HMRC requires. When Gift Aid is selected, the address section is clearly labelled "Home address", with tick boxes to confirm it is the home address and to reuse it as the billing address.
How to check it:
- Book on your booking site without choosing Gift Aid – no home address fields appear.
- Book again choosing Gift Aid – home address fields appear and must be completed.
- Tick the box confirming it is the home address, and the box confirming billing is the same.
- The separate billing address fields are hidden and the order completes normally.
UK postcode validation on Gift Aid address forms
Reference: CORE-8446
What's changed: Strict UK postcode formatting and a UK-only country rule now apply specifically to the Gift Aid home address fields. This is deliberately stricter than the general checkout address, where postcodes are tidied up automatically.
How to check it:
- At checkout, enter a badly formatted UK postcode and try to continue.
- A clear message asks for a valid UK postcode.
- With Gift Aid selected, choose a country outside the UK for the home address.
- A message explains that Gift Aid can only be claimed on UK addresses.
Gift Aid declaration times shown in UK local time
Reference: V3-180
What's changed: Gift Aid declaration timestamps were displayed in UTC, which made them an hour out during British Summer Time. They now show UK local time.
How to check it:
- Place a Gift Aid order and note the time you paid.
- Open the confirmation email and find the Gift Aid declaration line.
- Repeat for a patron sale and a membership, and through the Reservations Portal and POS.
- The declaration time matches local UK time.
HRP tailored booking flow
Date-based messages appear in the HRP booking flow
Reference: EXPIAN-336
What's changed: Booking flow messages configured against a date range are now displayed in the bespoke HRP booking flow.
How to check it:
- Set up a booking flow message for a date range in the Admin Portal.
- On your booking site, choose that product and a date inside the range.
- The message appears; choosing a date outside the range hides it.
- If set to show as a pop-up, it appears when confirming the selection.
Product service descriptions appear in the HRP booking flow
Reference: EXPIAN-335
What's changed: Service descriptions configured against products and events in the Admin Portal are now displayed in the HRP booking flow.
How to check it:
- Add a service description, with text or an image, to a product in the Admin Portal.
- Repeat for an event.
- On your booking site, select that product and that event.
- The description appears in the booking flow, with any styling and links intact.
Backspace in the date range field no longer causes an error page
Reference: V3-166
What's changed: Pressing the backspace key in a date range field took the user to an error page.
How to check it:
- Open the Reports section of the Reservations Portal.
- Choose a date range, then press the backspace key.
- The page carries on working, with no error page.
Promotions and pricing
Recommendation items show their names and prices
Reference: EXPIAN-47
What's changed: Upsell and tour recommendation items did not display names and prices. They now show dynamic per-ticket prices, all timeslots are retrieved when a date is selected, and the missing "From" label has been restored.
How to check it:
- Book a product that offers tour recommendations.
- Open the recommendations drawer.
- Each item shows its name and price, with adult and child prices where relevant.
- Where prices vary by date, it shows "From" and the lowest price.
Basket recalculates when a promotion is removed during an amendment
Reference: EXPIAN-378
What's changed: Removing a promotion during an amendment did not recalculate the basket, so staff could not take the additional payment due.
How to check it:
- In the Reservations Portal, create an order with a promotion applied.
- Edit the order and remove the promotion.
- The total becomes an amount owed and the Checkout button becomes available.
- Take payment and confirm the order shows the promotion removed. Repeat on POS.
Voucher amounts no longer double when donations are in the base price
Reference: EXPIAN-305
What's changed: Where donations sat within the base price, redeeming a voucher displayed and reported double its value.
How to check it:
- Redeem a voucher against an order on your booking site or in the Reservations Portal.
- Check the voucher amount shown on the order overview.
- It matches the voucher's face value, not double it.
- The same value is shown in your reporting.
VAT calculated correctly when donations are included in the base price
Reference: EXPIAN-356
What's changed: VAT is now calculated correctly when the donation-in-base-price option is switched on. VAT is treated as inclusive within the price.
How to check it:
- In the Admin Portal, switch on donations-in-base-price for a product that has VAT configured.
- Buy that ticket on your booking site.
- Open the confirmation email.
- The VAT amount is shown, calculated as the VAT included within the price.
Promotion codes giving 100% off now apply to add-ons
Reference: PO-1799
What's changed: Promotions giving 100% off were ignored when applied by promotion code, so no discount reached the basket.
How to check it:
- In the Admin Portal, set up a promotion code giving 100% off an add-on.
- On your booking site, add that add-on and enter the promotion code.
- The discount applies and the basket total reduces accordingly.
- An equivalent automatic promotion still discounts as before.
The latest uploaded price is always used
Reference: CORE-8931 – FreshDesk case 5189
What's changed: Where duplicate live prices existed for the same service instance, the booking site and Reservations Portal could show a stale price while the Admin Portal showed the new one. The most recently uploaded price is now used everywhere.
How to check it:
- Upload new prices in the Admin Portal and confirm the Prices Overview shows them.
- Search for the same sailing in the Reservations Portal and on your booking site.
- Repeat for a second market with different prices.
- Each market shows its own new price, matching the Admin Portal exactly.
Add-ons and recommendations
All-day products go straight into the basket
Reference: EXPIAN-330
What's changed: Where an all-day product has only one option for the chosen date, it is added straight to the basket without asking the customer to pick a time slot. Recommendation auto-selection has also been fixed.
How to check it:
- Open an all-day product and pick a date with one option only.
- No time slot choice appears and the item goes straight into the basket.
- Pick a date with several options – you still choose one manually.
- In the Reservations Portal the time slot choice always still appears.
Consistent button sizing on the extras and recommendations drawers
Reference: EXPIAN-393
What's changed: Buttons were noticeably different sizes between the add-ons drawer and the recommendations drawer.
How to check it:
- Add tickets and open the add-ons step.
- Continue to the recommendations step.
- The buttons are the same size and style on both screens.
"Skip" removed from the extras drawer
Reference: EXPIAN-357
What's changed: The confusing Skip button has been removed and replaced with standard back and next navigation.
How to check it:
- Open the extras drawer and press Back on the first step.
- The drawer closes and reopens empty. No Skip button appears anywhere.
- Move past the first step and press Back – you return to the previous step.
- On the last step, Next adds your choices to the basket.
Misleading extras messaging removed
Reference: EXPIAN-46
What's changed: The "Thank you for donating" and "inc. donation" wording that was confusing purchasers has been removed.
How to check it:
- Book a ticket that includes a donation.
- Look at the basket, the order summary and the order in My Account.
- No "Thank you for donating" text and no "inc. donation" labels appear.
Booking type selection (all portals)
Entitlement-only markets open the Memberships selector
Reference: V3-320
What's changed: This change affects how the platform decides which selector a market opens on. It applies to the online booking site and to the staff portals alike.
A market that sells only entitlements (for example, a market containing only a membership or discovery card) now opens the Memberships selector rather than the journey selector. Two related faults found while investigating are fixed at the same time: the selector could use the previous market's information while a newly-selected market was still loading, and any client with location-first booking switched on was left on a permanent loading spinner in the Reservations, Trade and POS portals. Users who land on a tab with nothing to sell are now moved to one that does have something to sell.
How to check it:
- On your booking site, open a market that offers only an entitlement product.
- It appears under Memberships, not as a journey search, and can be booked normally.
- Switch quickly between two markets with different products – the correct products load each time.
- If you use location-first booking, open the Reservations, Trade and POS portals – they load normally.
Blenheim Palace
Blenheim Palace uses the standard booking front end, so much of this work benefits every client using it.
Single-product deep links lock the booking journey
Reference: EXPIAN-35
What's changed: Customers arriving via a product-specific link are now kept on that product for the whole booking, including when they start a new order.
How to check it:
- Open your booking site using the link supplied for one specific product.
- Only that product is offered, including when you start a new order.
- Open the booking site normally, without a product link.
- All products are available as usual.
Customers can change quantities in the basket
Reference: EXPIAN-331
What's changed: Customers can now amend the number of items in the basket instead of clearing it and starting again.
How to check it:
- Add admission or event tickets and view the basket summary.
- Use the plus and minus controls to change quantities and watch the price update.
- Reduce a ticket type to zero – a "Removed" message with an undo link appears.
- At the details step the basket is read-only and quantities match your choices.
Typography and colour scheme updated
Reference: EXPIAN-39, EXPIAN-40
What's changed: The booking journey now uses the approved typefaces throughout, not only in emails, and the default teal accent colour has been replaced with the approved green across selection and highlight elements.
How to check it:
- Open your booking site.
- Look at the headings and body text through the booking flow and My Account.
- Look at the booking type bar, account login and account bookings areas.
- The approved fonts and green accent colour are used throughout.
Passes (open-date products)
These are open-date pass products, and are distinct from mobile wallet passes and from the membership, patronage and voucher family.
Pass amendments enabled
Reference: EXPIAN-262
What's changed: Blenheim Palace customers can now amend a pass. Amendment rules, such as blocking a start-date change, previously applied only when swapping to a different product and now apply consistently.
How to check it:
- Buy an annual pass, then choose to amend the order.
- Keep the same pass but try to change the start date.
- The change is blocked with a message asking you to change your settings.
- Amending without changing the date still completes as normal.
Future pass start dates cannot be extended
Reference: EXPIAN-302
What's changed: A pass with a start date in the future can be upgraded, have people added, or be brought forward – but the start date cannot be pushed beyond its original date. The Who and When fields are enabled conditionally on the start date.
How to check it:
- Buy an annual pass with a start date in the future.
- Edit the order and upgrade to a higher-value pass.
- Try moving the start date earlier, and then later than the original date.
- Earlier dates and extra people are allowed; later dates and reductions are not.
Annual pass amendments after the start date are upgrade-only
Reference: EXPIAN-303
What's changed: Once a pass has started, the date and people fields are disabled and only an upgrade is possible. A pass-amendment price comparison that used an inconsistent donation setting has also been corrected.
How to check it:
- Buy an annual pass starting today.
- Choose to change the order.
- The number of people and the start date are greyed out.
- You can only choose a higher-value pass and pay the difference.
Allocation and capacity
Capacity information and budget seat warning
Reference: EXPIAN-318
What's changed: Information messages now explain the capacity options available at the extras booking step. In addition, a warning appears when a budget sleeping lounge seat is selected for a booking that includes children, toddlers or babies.
How to check it:
- Start a booking that includes a child, toddler or baby and reach the extras step.
- Open the information message against a capacity option – it explains what the option includes.
- Select the Budget Seat (Sleep Lounge) option.
- A message explains the Sleep Lounge is for adults aged 16 and over, and must be closed before you continue.
Bundle tickets now consume capacity correctly
Reference: EXPIAN-308
What's changed: Bundle tickets did not use up capacity for each ticket type they include, which risked overselling. Missing bundle ticket-type mappings have also been added.
How to check it:
- Set up a bundle ticket, for example a family ticket covering four people.
- Choose a time slot with only a few places remaining.
- The slot is only offered when all four places are free, and four are then used.
- Slots with too few places left cannot be selected, and removing the bundle frees them.
Memberships, patronages and vouchers
Buying a gift voucher now creates a voucher
Reference: V3-262
What's changed: The gift voucher purchase pathway was issuing a membership instead of a voucher, so the wrong product reached the customer account, the confirmation email and the Reservations Portal.
How to check it:
- On your booking site, open Memberships and choose "I am buying for someone else".
- Check that gift voucher products are listed, then complete the purchase and pay.
- Open the resulting order in the Reservations Portal.
- The order contains a gift voucher, not an active membership.
Donations-inclusive pricing re-enabled for vouchers
Reference: EXPIAN-24
What's changed: Vouchers can once again be set up so the full price counts as a donation. Voucher donations were also not showing in the basket, which is fixed.
How to check it:
- In the Admin Portal, open a voucher's pricing and switch on donations included in the price.
- On your booking site, add that voucher to the basket.
- Add a voucher without the setting to a separate basket.
- The first basket shows the donation; the second does not.
Beneficiary labelling corrected on Blenheim vouchers
Reference: EXPIAN-380
What's changed: An unnecessary "(Passenger)" label appeared on the booking information page when buying a voucher.
How to check it:
- Start buying a gift voucher on your booking site.
- Read the ticket type labels on the booking information page.
- No "Passenger" wording appears, and other products still show their correct labels.
Membership downgrade option hidden
Reference: V3-178
What's changed: A downgrade option was visible in the More Actions menu even though downgrades are not offered.
How to check it:
- Sign in to your booking site as an active member.
- Open your membership and open the More Actions menu.
- No downgrade option is listed, and the remaining options still work.
Member-only ticket types appear as soon as the customer is entitled
Reference: V3-263
What's changed: The personalised ticket-type list was being held for up to 30 minutes against the customer's identity but not their membership status. A "not a member" copy of the list was therefore still served after the customer logged in or bought a membership, and refreshing the page did not help. The list is now refreshed on login, on logout, and on the order confirmation screen after a membership or patronage purchase.
Please note: This affected every membership-gated ticket type on every client.
How to check it:
- Sign in to your booking site with an active membership.
- Go to the members' events section.
- Member-only events appear straight away, without refreshing or clearing the browser.
- Buy a membership mid-session and confirm member ticket types appear immediately afterwards.
Add-ons linked to a membership now appear online
Reference: V3-298
What's changed: Add-ons linked to a membership or patronage product never appeared in the online purchase journey, even though the same setup worked in the Reservations Portal. Buy Now now opens the same "Select Add-Ons" drawer used for standard products.
How to check it:
- In the Admin Portal, link an add-on such as a donation to a membership product.
- On your booking site, add that membership to the basket.
- Repeat the same purchase in the Reservations Portal.
- The add-on is offered in both places and can be bought alongside the membership.
Entitlement purchases display on the order confirmation
Reference: V3-112
What's changed: The confirmation screen after buying a membership showed blank contact and transaction details.
How to check it:
- In the Reservations Portal, create an order for a direct debit membership.
- Complete checkout and take payment by card.
- The confirmation page shows the customer's name, contact details and transaction details.
My Bookings
Upgrade button hidden on MyLapland
Reference: LUK2-850
What's changed: The booking upgrade button has been removed from the customer account area.
How to check it:
- Sign in to the customer account area and open an existing booking.
- Review the options offered against the booking.
- No upgrade button is shown.
One-time-use booking links behave correctly
Reference: LUK2-845
What's changed: Private booking links are now always required in order to reach a private booking journey. A caching issue could previously allow the page to load without one, and this has been corrected.
How to check it:
- Open a one-time booking link in one browser and view the booking calendar.
- In a second, separate browser, open the same booking page without the special link.
- Only the one-time link gives access; the plain address redirects away as intended.
Correct wording when editing down to a cheaper booking
Reference: LUK2-843
What's changed: Editing a booking down to a cheaper slot showed "cancel your booking" wording on the payment page. Because the edit only amends the booking, it now shows the refund amount instead. This affects standard and Golden Experience bookings alike.
How to check it:
- Open an existing booking and choose to edit it.
- Select a cheaper date or time and continue to the payment page.
- Only refund wording appears; no cancellation wording is shown.
Booking references are tidied up when requesting an access link
Reference: EXN-9
What's changed: Customers requesting a new link to their booking were rejected when their reference contained stray spaces or lower-case letters. The reference typed by the customer is now tidied up before it is checked. Where a customer types a digit zero in place of the letter O, a clear on-screen warning is now shown rather than a bare rejection.
How to check it:
- Open the page to request a new link to a booking.
- Type the booking reference in lower case, with a space before and after.
- The request succeeds and the link is sent.
- Now type the same reference with a digit zero in place of the letter O – a clear warning is shown.
Reservations Portal
Customer search before placing an order
Reference: EXPIAN-218
What's changed: A new required workflow asks staff to search for an existing customer – and create one if no match is found – before placing an order on that customer's behalf.
How to check it:
- In the Reservations Portal, start a new order and search for the customer by email address.
- Where no match is found, use the option to create a new customer.
- The account is created, the customer receives a password email, and the order can proceed.
Amendments no longer fail when online availability is zero
Reference: EXN-12
What's changed: A Reservations amendment failed when the original online sales channel had zero availability. The capacity check now uses the amending channel instead.
How to check it:
- Set the online sales limit for a cabin or ticket type to zero.
- In the Reservations Portal, open a booking made online and add that item.
- Try to buy the same item as a new customer on the public website.
- The amendment succeeds; the item stays unavailable to new online bookings.
Correct remaining space shown during an amendment
Reference: PO-1798
What's changed: Remaining space counts were shown to customers amending a booking even though the setting to display them was switched off.
How to check it:
- Open an existing booking from the confirmation email link or from the online account.
- Choose to edit the booking and open the list of available times.
- Times show only "Available", with no remaining-space numbers.
Correct customer shown at checkout when acting on behalf
Reference: EXPIAN-391
What's changed: Checkout displayed a previously selected customer's details when staff switched to a different customer. The name is now refreshed when checkout opens.
How to check it:
- In the Reservations Portal, start an order on behalf of one customer.
- Switch to a different customer and continue to checkout.
- Checkout shows the second customer's name and email, not the first customer's.
Reports table text no longer overlaps
Reference: EXN-8
What's changed: Report columns were squashed to equal widths, so headings and values overlapped and became unreadable.
How to check it:
- Open the reporting section of the Reservations Portal at normal screen zoom.
- Run a report that has several columns.
- Headings and values are fully readable with no overlapping text.
Price override limits restored and decimals accepted
Reference: V3-36
What's changed: Staff previously had to type 100025 and then insert the decimal point to enter 1000.25, and could not override above the system-calculated amount on direct or invoiced trade partner bookings. The amount field now accepts decimals directly and the override limits work correctly.
How to check it:
- In the Reservations Portal, amend a booking to a cheaper time so a price change is calculated.
- Override the amount, typing a decimal figure such as 30.00 straight in.
- Repeat on a trade partner invoice booking.
- The figure is accepted exactly as typed and the amendment fee can be charged.
Trade Partner Portal
Clearer diagnosis of trade partner sign-in failures
Reference: PO-1790
What's changed: When trade partner validation rejects a sign-in, the reason is now recorded so our support team can diagnose it quickly.
How to check it: No customer action needed. If a trade partner reports a sign-in problem, please raise a support case and we will be able to see the cause.
Trade partner access after a password reset
Reference: PO-1793
What's changed: The verification email sent when reactivating a trade partner user was missing its button, so users could not complete sign-in.
How to check it:
- In the Admin Portal, deactivate a trade partner user and then reactivate them.
- Open the verification email that the user receives.
- The email includes a working button to the portal, and the code allows sign-in.
Vehicle registration updates save correctly
Reference: EXN-6
What's changed: Online car registration updates failed silently for trade partners, including plate updates for passengers other than the lead passenger.
How to check it:
- In the Trade Partner or Reservations Portal, open a booking that includes a vehicle.
- Edit the vehicle details, change the registration and save.
- Reload the booking.
- No error is shown and the new registration is still there.
Point of Sale and scanning
Card reader connection now requires authentication
Reference: EXN-36
What's changed: Card reader connections are now covered by the same sign-in checks as the rest of POS. The POS app already signed in for this step, so there is no change to the app or to your working practices.
How to check it:
- Sign in to the POS app and connect a card reader.
- Take a card payment and complete the sale.
- Process a refund on that sale.
- Reader connection, payments and refunds all work exactly as before.
Customer creation available from POS
Reference: EXPIAN-386
What's changed: POS can now create a customer record during the booking flow, so staff no longer have to leave the sale to set one up. This underpins the customer search-and-create workflow described under EXPIAN-218.
How to check it:
- At POS, start a sale and search for a customer who does not yet exist.
- Use the option to create a new customer.
- The customer is created and the sale can continue against that record.
Selling passes without collecting every holder's details at the till
Reference: EXPIAN-4
What's changed: Staff can now skip the beneficiary at the confirmation email and customer details step, so passes can be sold at the till with only the lead customer's details. The remaining names are collected afterwards by the customer.
How to check it:
- At POS, sell two or more annual passes entering only the lead customer's details.
- Complete the sale and open the confirmation email.
- Follow the link in the email and add the remaining pass holders' names.
- No passes are usable until all names are added; wallet downloads then appear.
Manual redemption of tickets scanned at the wrong time
Reference: CORE-8763
What's changed: Staff can manually redeem a ticket that has been scanned outside its valid time, while location permissions continue to be enforced. Ticket expiry information has also been made available to the scanning app.
How to check it:
- Scan a valid ticket at a permitted location but outside its allowed time.
- Use the manual redeem option and confirm the ticket is accepted.
- Repeat the scan at a location where the ticket is not valid.
- Manual redemption works only at permitted locations, and expired tickets stay blocked.
Payments
Checkout can no longer submit an order before payment is taken
Reference: V3-317
What's changed: The Done button on the payment step was clickable while the card or Direct Debit form was still loading. Clicking it early treated the order as though it used a method with no payment form, such as invoice or pay later, so the order could be submitted before payment completed and was left as an unpaid draft with no tickets issued. The button is now disabled until the payment form is ready, and an early click shows a "payment form is still loading" message.
Please note: This affects the checkout used by both the online booking site and the Reservations Portal. The behaviour predates v3.3.0. Invoice, pay later, zero-payable and pop-up provider flows are unchanged.
How to check it:
- Take a membership or ticket through to the payment step.
- Try pressing the submit button before the payment form has finished loading.
- Complete a normal payment once the form is ready.
- The early press does nothing; the normal payment completes and the order is paid.
Successful payments reach the confirmation page
Reference: V3-325
What's changed: The new check described above initially applied to completed payments as well, so a successful payment was taken and the confirmation email and PDF were sent, but the customer was left on a loading spinner and never saw the confirmation page. Completed payments now continue straight through to confirmation, while a premature click with no payment taken is still blocked.
Please note: This affects every payment widget provider – Stripe, SagePay, DNA, NetsEasy, Barclaycard and PayPal – on both the online booking site and the Reservations Portal. It was found and fixed during v3.3.0 testing and did not reach any live site.
How to check it:
- Complete a card payment for any order on your booking site.
- Wait for the payment to finish.
- Repeat in the Reservations Portal for a card payment.
- The confirmation page appears promptly and the button stops spinning.
Klarna added as a payment method
Reference: EXPIAN-334, EXPIAN-449
What's changed: Klarna is available as a new payment method through DNA Payments. It can be permitted per country, and a minimum spend can be set per client before it appears.
How to check it:
- Check out with a UK billing address and open the payment window.
- Choose Klarna and complete the purchase, then check the payment history on the order.
- Place an order below your configured minimum spend and open the payment window.
- Klarna appears only for permitted countries and only at or above the minimum spend.
External "manual card" payment type
Reference: EXPIAN-222
What's changed: A "Manual card" external payment type is available in the Reservations Portal and on POS, to record payments and refunds taken outside the system.
How to check it:
- In the Reservations Portal, take payment on a booking and choose the external payment option.
- Select "Manual card" and complete the order.
- Refund that order, again choosing "Manual card".
- Manual card is available for both, and existing payment options still work.
Fraud screening data captured for PayPal
Reference: PO-1642
What's changed: Device fingerprint and IP address are now captured for PayPal transactions so fraud screening can run. There is no visible change for customers or staff.
How to check it:
- Complete a booking paying by PayPal.
- The payment completes successfully, exactly as before.
Customer details preserved on pay-later checkout
Reference: CORE-8791
What's changed: Pay-by-email orders had the original customer's details replaced by whoever completed the payment.
How to check it:
- In the Reservations Portal, create a booking for a customer and send a pay-by-email link.
- Open that link and pay while signed in as a different person.
- Check the order and the confirmation email afterwards.
- The original customer's name and email are kept, and they receive the confirmation.
Complete Payment button colour corrected
Reference: CORE-8020
What's changed: The "Complete payment" button in the pay-later email used the wrong colours.
How to check it:
- In the Reservations Portal, create a booking and send the payment request email.
- Open the email the customer receives.
- The "Complete payment" button matches the styling of the "Manage your order" button.
Order details display for standalone items
Reference: CORE-8022
What's changed: Orders containing an ancillary or standalone item showed no details on screen, and totals displayed incorrectly. This item covers how the order displays; ticket and PDF generation for standalone items is covered separately under EXPIAN-226.
How to check it:
- Buy a standalone extra item on its own.
- Open the order from the customer account and in the Reservations Portal.
- Amend the order to remove the item.
- The item's details display correctly and it can be added or removed without error.
Refunds and settlement
Genuine cancellations now refund correctly
Reference: PO-1783
What's changed: A check intended to prevent duplicate refunds was also blocking genuine cancellations, so a cancellation appeared to succeed but the booking stayed live and no refund was made.
How to check it:
- In the Reservations Portal, cancel a fully paid live booking with the refund set to zero.
- Reopen the booking to check its status.
- Cancel another paid booking with a real refund.
- Both bookings show as cancelled and the real refund is processed.
Invoiced booking value preserved on a zero-value amendment
Reference: CORE-8828
What's changed: A no-cost port amendment on an invoiced booking wrongly reduced the booking value to zero and marked it as paid.
How to check it:
- Open an invoiced booking that has had a no-cost amendment, such as a name change.
- Check the total value and payment status in the Reservations Portal.
- The value is unchanged and the booking still shows as unsettled, not paid.
Roman Baths – Discovery Card
Appointment confirmation email wording
Reference: EXPIAN-321
What's changed: The wording on the Discovery Card appointment confirmation email has been updated.
How to check it:
- Book a Discovery Card appointment through your booking site.
- Open the confirmation email.
- The wording refers to the Discovery Card application and appointment, and reminds customers to bring identification.
Online application wording
Reference: EXPIAN-322
What's changed: Wording across the online Discovery Card application and the related account emails referred to the wrong product and has been corrected.
How to check it:
- Apply for a Discovery Card online and create an account.
- Read the on-screen wording and the account verification email.
- The text refers to the Discovery Card, and the old ticket refund paragraph has been removed.
Support and Membership Manager roles can upload the photo
Reference: EXPIAN-323
What's changed: Only administrators could add a photo to a Discovery Card order. Support and Membership Manager roles can now do so as well.
How to check it:
- Sign in to the Reservations Portal as a Support or Membership Manager user.
- Place a Discovery Card order and add a photo, by camera and by file upload.
- Delete the photo and add it again.
- These roles can add and delete photos, as owners and administrators already could.
Appointment wording and navigation
Reference: CORE-8861, CORE-8874
What's changed: The Discovery Card journey used visit wording rather than appointment wording, and the confirmation email had the wrong subject line, logo link and terms and conditions link.
How to check it:
- Open the Discovery Card booking journey and read the section headings.
- The headings read "Book Your Appointment" and "Appointments".
- Book an appointment and open the confirmation email.
- The subject reads "Order Summary", and the logo and terms links both open the Discovery Card pages.
Order amendments and imports
Combo discounts preserved through check-in
Reference: PO-1773, PO-1776
What's changed: Combo discounts on return car bookings flipped from a discount to an added value at check-in, inflating the booking value. Combo bookings also lost their discount at check-in, producing an unexpected internal invoice, an unsettled balance and a stray zero-value payment. Committed combos are now preserved through import amendments, and the phantom amendment-fee mismatches have been removed.
How to check it:
- Make and fully pay a return booking that carries a combo discount, then add an extra such as lounge access.
- Note the combo discount on each leg, the order total and the balance.
- Check in the outward leg, then the return leg.
- Discounts are unchanged, the balance stays at zero, and no unexpected invoice or payment lines appear.
Commission, terms and fee types carried forward on import
Reference: PO-1784, PO-1801, PO-1802
What's changed: Trade bookings imported from a partner system were rejected when terms and conditions could not be found. Committed commission and terms are now carried forward. Order import also now accepts only imported amendment fees, so a partner update can no longer silently delete an amendment fee that has already been charged and paid.
How to check it:
- Amend a booking in the Reservations Portal so an amendment fee is charged, and take payment.
- Note the order total, the fee and the zero balance.
- Have the partner system send a further update for that same booking.
- The amendment fee is still listed, the total is unchanged, the terms and commission are unchanged, and the order does not show as overpaid.
Imports resolve frozen or suspended sailings
Reference: PO-1768
What's changed: Bookings sent from the port system failed to reach the platform when the sailing had already been closed or frozen. Availability checking can now be bypassed for these imports.
How to check it:
- Choose a sailing that has been closed off or frozen for further sale.
- Have the port system send a check-in or amendment for an existing booking on that sailing.
- The update reaches the booking successfully, and the booking shows the change.
Booking agents no longer counted as passengers
Reference: PO-1747
What's changed: The billing customer or booking agent was being listed as a travelling passenger on coach transfer manifests, inflating passenger counts.
How to check it:
- In the Reservations Portal, book a coach transfer add-on on behalf of a customer whose name differs from yours.
- Run the coach transfer manifest report for that sailing and coach product.
- Only the travelling passengers are listed; the person who made the booking does not appear.
Search by migrated reference
Reference: V3-164, V3-165
What's changed: Orders and bookings brought over from a previous system can now be found by searching their old reference. Imported tickets are also linked to their original ticket references, so they can be found and scanned.
How to check it:
- Take a booking reference from your previous ticketing system.
- Search for it in the Reservations Portal main search box, then using the External Reference filter.
- Open the migrated booking and check each ticket carries its original ticket reference.
- Search or scan using one of those ticket references – the correct ticket and named guest are returned.
Ticket resend and wallet passes on migrated bookings
Reference: EXPIAN-405, EXPIAN-407
What's changed: Migrated bookings showed "Tickets Unavailable", so agents could not resend tickets or reissue wallet passes. Promotions on migrated orders also showed as unsettled with no visible discount amount.
How to check it:
- Open a migrated booking in the Reservations Portal and open the More Actions menu.
- The resend tickets option is available, and sending it delivers the tickets and wallet pass.
- Open a migrated booking that had a promotion applied.
- The promotion shows its discount amount and the order is settled, with no outstanding balance.
Employee concession available again
Reference: CORE-8790, PO-1785
What's changed: Employee concession tickets could not be booked as a return journey online, and the concession was not offered as a ticket type in the Reservations Portal.
How to check it:
- Sign in to your booking site with an account holding an employee membership and start a return journey.
- Select the employee concession on both the outward and return legs – the booking completes with tickets.
- In the Reservations Portal, choose Place Order On Behalf and select an employee membership holder.
- The Employee Concession ticket type is offered and the booking completes successfully.
Manual cabin limits are no longer reset
Reference: PO-1796
What's changed: Manually reduced cabin limits on sailings were being reset to the full vessel limits even where the capacity integration was switched off.
How to check it:
- In the Admin Portal, switch off the capacity integration for a sailing.
- Manually reduce the cabin limits for several cabin types on that sailing.
- Wait until the next scheduled update from the port system, then reopen the sailing.
- The reduced cabin limits are still in place, not reset to vessel limits.
Pay-later drafts honour the chosen payment window
Reference: PO-1795
What's changed: Draft pay-later bookings always expired after 24 hours regardless of the payment window chosen, so bookings disappeared before bank transfers arrived.
How to check it:
- In the Reservations Portal, book a route departing at least ten days ahead.
- At payment, choose pay later and set the time to pay to seven days.
- Complete the booking, then open the draft order and check the "expires if unpaid" date.
- Expiry is seven days from booking, not the next day. Repeat with 14 days to confirm.
Integrations and webhooks
Webhook hostname column restored in reporting
Reference: CORE-8341
What's changed: The Webhooks report returned an invalid field error or no data at all, because the hostname field was no longer available to the report.
How to check it:
- In the Reservations Portal, open the Reports section and select the Webhooks report.
- Run the report, including the hostname field.
- Results are returned with no invalid field error.
Customer account reference included in outbound messages
Reference: PO-1788
What's changed: Customer account references were missing from messages sent to connected finance and port systems, even though the account was linked on the booking.
How to check it:
- Open a booking in the Reservations Portal that has a customer account linked.
- Confirm the customer account is shown on the order.
- Make a small change, such as adding a note, to trigger an update to the connected system.
- The connected system receives the booking with the customer account reference included.
Performance
Availability searches no longer time out
Reference: V3-288
What's changed: Availability searching was timing out across the online booking site, the Reservations Portal and the Trade Portal, blocking the booking journey outright on larger product sets. The search has been substantially reworked and now returns quickly.
How to check it:
- Start a booking on your booking site and open the date and timeslot calendar.
- Change ticket numbers and dates several times in quick succession.
- Repeat in the Reservations Portal and the Trade Portal.
- Availability loads quickly each time with no errors, and each timeslot shows its own correct availability.
Reporting and exports
Runaway reports are now stopped automatically
Reference: V3-234
What's changed: A report that could not complete used to run on indefinitely, holding system resources open for over an hour. Such a report now stops cleanly after 30 seconds. If a report you rely on stops regularly, please narrow the date range or raise a support case so we can help.
How to check it:
- In the Reservations Portal, open the Reports section and run a large financial report.
- View the results on screen, then download them as a spreadsheet.
- The report either returns or stops cleanly within about half a minute, rather than hanging indefinitely.
Order revision reporting now records data
Reference: V3-292
What's changed: Order revision reporting was silently not being written, so the Order Revision data sources returned no rows for new orders. This is now fixed.
Please note: Existing orders are given a default value, and migrated orders will show correctly after the next reporting refresh.
How to check it:
- Place a test booking through the normal booking flow and note the reference.
- In the Reservations Portal, open the Data tab and start a new query.
- Choose Order Revision as the data source and search for today's booking.
- The new booking appears as a row in the results.
Admin Portal
Bulk unique promotion codes
Reference: EXPIAN-32
What's changed: A new Admin Portal workflow generates unique, single-use promotion codes in bulk. Usage is tracked and enforced at basket level.
How to check it:
- In the Admin Portal, open a promotion that requires a code and use the Unique Codes tab to generate a batch.
- Download the batch and note one code.
- Apply that code to a booking on your booking site or in the Reservations Portal.
- The discount applies once, the code cannot be reused, and the used count updates in Admin.
Icon on calendar dates carrying a booking flow message
Reference: EXPIAN-360
What's changed: A new option displays a warning or information icon on calendar dates that have an active booking flow message, with an accompanying tooltip in Admin.
How to check it:
- In the Admin Portal, edit a booking flow message and tick the option to display an icon on the booking calendar.
- On your booking site, book a product covered by that message and open the calendar.
- The matching icon appears only on the dates the message covers.
- Untick the option and confirm the icon no longer appears.
Sub-location creation no longer reports a false failure
Reference: V3-300
What's changed: Creating a sub-location reported "Sub-location not found" even though it had succeeded. Retrying with the same External ID then produced an error. A duplicate External ID now returns a clear validation message instead.
How to check it:
- In the Admin Portal, go to Locations and open an existing location.
- Add a new sub-location with a new reference and title, tick a permission, and save.
- It saves with no error and appears in the sub-location list straight away.
- Add a second sub-location reusing the same reference – a clear validation message explains it is already in use.
Emails, PDFs and wallet passes
All clients
Readable fee labels in confirmation emails
Reference: EXPIAN-349
What's changed: Imported port amendment fees appeared with a raw internal label on amendment confirmation emails. Friendly labels are now used.
How to check it:
- Amend a booking so that a port amendment fee is charged.
- Open the amendment confirmation email sent to the customer.
- The fee is shown with a readable label such as "Port amendment".
Confirmation email content is scoped to the correct ticket type
Reference: EXPIAN-377
What's changed: Confirmation email content was being applied to every ticket type regardless of what had been configured for it. Content is now scoped to the ticket type it was set up against.
How to check it:
- Configure different confirmation content against two different ticket types.
- Buy each one separately and open the confirmation emails.
- Each email shows only the content configured for that ticket type.
Download links removed from cancellation emails
Reference: EXPIAN-345
What's changed: The order cancelled email still offered ticket download and "Download to wallet" links for tickets that no longer existed. These have been removed from the cancellation template.
How to check it:
- Buy an annual pass and check the confirmation email arrives with wallet links.
- Cancel the order.
- The cancellation email contains no ticket or wallet download links.
Tickets generated for standalone items
Reference: EXPIAN-226
What's changed: Orders containing only standalone extras, such as merchandise or parking, produced no tickets or item details on emails, PDFs and account pages.
How to check it:
- Book a standalone extra on its own, with no admission ticket.
- Open the confirmation email and its PDF.
- The extra is listed, with a scannable code where the item is collectable.
- The order in My Account and in the Reservations Portal shows the same items.
Blenheim Palace
Order confirmation email redesign
Reference: EXPIAN-27
What's changed: Booking confirmation emails now carry a branded header image and a standard footer.
How to check it:
- Complete a booking on your booking site.
- Open the confirmation email on both a computer and a mobile phone.
- The branded header image appears at the top, and the footer shows accessibility, plan your visit and FAQ links.
- Amend the booking and confirm the amendment email looks the same.
PDF attachment controlled per product
Reference: EXPIAN-289
What's changed: A new per-product "Send PDF" setting controls whether a PDF ticket is attached to confirmation emails.
How to check it:
- In the Admin Portal, set Send PDF to off for one product and leave another set to on.
- Book each product separately and open the confirmation emails.
- Only the product set to on has a PDF attached; the other directs the customer to the digital wallet.
- Staff can still download the PDF from the order in the Reservations Portal.
Annual pass emails use wallet passes instead of QR codes
Reference: EXPIAN-370
What's changed: QR codes have been removed from annual pass confirmation, amendment and cancellation emails, so a pass cannot be shared by forwarding the email. Customers add the pass to a digital wallet instead.
How to check it:
- Buy an annual pass on your booking site.
- Open the confirmation email.
- No QR code is shown; there is a way to add the pass to a digital wallet.
- Buy a day ticket and confirm its email still shows a QR code as normal.
PDF download removed from the annual pass confirmation page
Reference: EXPIAN-358
What's changed: The "Download PDF tickets" option has been removed from the confirmation page for annual passes only.
How to check it:
- Buy an annual pass and reach the confirmation page.
- There is no option to download PDF tickets, only the wallet options.
- Buy a standard day ticket – the PDF download option is still offered there.
Voucher number shown in voucher confirmation emails
Reference: EXPIAN-392
What's changed: The voucher number and redemption instructions are now visible in the email itself, rather than hidden inside the attached PDF.
How to check it:
- Buy a gift voucher on your booking site.
- Open the voucher confirmation email.
- The voucher number and redemption instructions are visible in the email.
- Use that number on a new booking to confirm it redeems.
Mobile wallet pass improvements
Reference: EXPIAN-355, EXPIAN-383
What's changed: Wallet passes showed a duplicated pass type and reference, were missing detail on Apple devices, and two pass types shared the same colour. Clicking the wallet ticket link from a confirmation email also produced an error when a different customer account was already signed in on that device, including passes bought on a customer's behalf.
How to check it:
- Buy each annual pass type and add the pass to a wallet on both an Apple and an Android phone.
- The duplicate pass type and booking reference no longer appear on the pass front, and each pass type has its own colour.
- On the Apple pass, open the back and confirm name, address and telephone are shown.
- On a device signed in to a different customer account, open a customer's confirmation email and click the wallet link – the pass downloads, or a clear message asks you to sign out.
Design Museum
Membership and patron QR codes now scan
Reference: V3-310
What's changed: Staff scanning the QR code from a membership or patron confirmation email received an "Unable to make scan" message, while the PDF and online QR codes for the same order worked. The email templates now encode a reference the scanner can resolve.
How to check it:
- Buy a membership on your booking site or in the Reservations Portal.
- Scan the QR code in the confirmation email with the scanning app.
- The member's details are shown for admission, instead of an error.
- Repeat with a standard dated ticket to confirm normal scanning still works.
Entitlement copy, links and branding aligned to approved wording
Reference: V3-323
What's changed: A set of wording, link and branding corrections across the membership and gift voucher journey: gift voucher explanatory text, a hyperlink in the marketing preferences checkbox, the Terms and Conditions consent link and the voucher PDF terms header both pointing at the General Terms page, the correct membership contact address in membership and voucher PDF footers, the correct business name across account creation, order and membership confirmation emails, lead member wording on the membership details step, and the voucher confirmation's Important Information text.
How to check it:
- On your booking site, open the membership page and choose the buying-for-someone-else option.
- Check the gift voucher wording is correct and the contact email address is a working link.
- Continue to checkout and confirm the marketing preferences text shows proper links, not raw code.
- Check the terms link, and the confirmation email branding and footer address.
P&O
Useful Links now open working pages
Reference: V3-38
What's changed: Useful links in confirmation emails, such as Food & Drink, led to missing pages. They now use route-agnostic destinations.
How to check it:
- Complete a booking and open the confirmation email.
- Click each of the useful links in the email footer.
- Every link opens a working page, with no page-not-found errors.
- Repeat for a booking made in another language.
Route-specific check-in information on Pay Later emails
Reference: EXN-13
What's changed: Pay Later booking confirmation emails contained no route-specific check-in information.
How to check it:
- Make a pay later booking for each main route.
- Open each confirmation email.
- The email shows the check-in and boarding times for that specific route.
Remaining English content in PDF confirmations translated
Reference: V3-57
What's changed: Confirmation emails and PDF tickets were only partly translated when a language other than English was chosen.
How to check it:
- Make a booking choosing German or French as the preferred language.
- Open the confirmation email and the attached PDF ticket.
- All wording is in the chosen language, including departure and arrival lines, fees and add-on names.
- Amend the booking and check the amendment email is also fully translated.
Roman Baths, Auckland, Bamburgh and Coastal Cruises
Membership and patron QR code fix extended to four further clients
Reference: V3-321
What's changed: The QR code defect fixed for Design Museum was confirmed on Roman Baths as well, and a review found that Auckland, Bamburgh and Coastal Cruises use the same email layout. The fix has been applied to all four. Add-on QR codes now render correctly too.
How to check it:
- Buy a membership on your booking site or in the Reservations Portal.
- Scan the QR code from the confirmation email with the scanning app.
- The membership resolves and admission details are shown.
- Check a standard dated ticket email QR code still scans as before.
Generic logo on account verification emails
Reference: CORE-8850
What's changed: Account verification emails used one venue's logo across all markets, which was confusing for customers of other brands. A generic logo is now used.
How to check it:
- Start a booking in a secondary brand or market and create a new account during checkout.
- Open the account verification email.
- It shows the generic logo rather than a single venue's logo.
- Complete the booking – the confirmation email shows that market's own logo.
Also delivered in v3.3.0 from parallel maintenance work
The changes below were delivered alongside the main release and are included in v3.3.0. They are already live for the client who first received them, and are new for everyone else moving onto v3.3.0.
HRP production fixes, now available to all clients
Mooring product now generates tickets
Reference: CORE-9036 – FreshDesk case 5391 · Salesforce case 5391
What's changed: Bookings for a newly launched mooring product generated no tickets, and customers saw "Tickets Unavailable" at checkout. Expired open-date tickets were breaking ticket and PDF generation.
How to check it:
- Buy a mooring product through your booking site and complete payment.
- At the end of checkout, tickets are issued rather than an unavailable message.
- Open the order in the Reservations Portal and download the tickets.
- The confirmation email arrives with the tickets attached.
Correct pass product added to the basket
Reference: CORE-9039 – FreshDesk case 5556 · Salesforce case 5556
What's changed: Choosing one pass product at a location added a different pass product to the basket, so a mooring at one location showed against another.
How to check it:
- On your booking site, choose a location that offers more than one pass product.
- Select the second pass product in the list and confirm your selection.
- The basket shows the product you actually chose, at the correct price.
- Complete the booking with no errors.
Lapland line changes carried into v3.3.0
These changes were first delivered for Lapland. They are included in v3.3.0, so they now reach other clients on this version too.
New waived and gross-amount reporting
Reference: V3-303
What's changed: A "Waived" figure has been added to the ticket revenue report, along with new gross-amount data, item and product title fields, and a new fees report covering booking, postage and amendment fees.
How to check it:
- In the Reservations Portal, open the ticket revenue report.
- A Waived column appears alongside quantity and revenue.
- Open the fees report and check it lists booking, postage and amendment fees by location.
- Revenue less waived matches the payments report for the same period.
Golden Experience and marketing consent wording
Reference: LUK2-872
What's changed: Wording updates to the Golden Experience booking journey and the marketing consent block.
How to check it:
- Go through the Golden Experience booking journey on your booking site.
- Check the manage-your-booking wording and link are correct.
- On the details page, check the marketing consent heading and text, and that the privacy policy link works.
Configurable pay-by-email deadlines in the Trade Portal
Reference: LUK2-873
What's changed: A new per-portal configuration option sets the pay-by-email deadlines offered in the Trade Portal. It ships for every client but is empty by default, so nothing changes unless it is configured for you. The Reservations Portal is unaffected.
How to check it:
- In the Trade Portal, create a booking and choose payment via email.
- Check the deadline options offered match those configured for you, for example 15 minutes, 2 hours and 1 day.
- Complete the order and confirm the deadline in the email matches the option chosen.
- The Reservations Portal still offers its full list of options.
Platform, hosting and reliability
